TIDES OF TIME

We had the privilege to develop our first commissioned work with the talented Quantum Leap youth ensemble from QL2 Dance. Projection work by Wild Bear Digital, music composed by Adam Ventura, lighting design by Darkhouse & costume design by Lilah Gow made by Cate Clelland.

Presented as part of QL2 Dance’s triple bill “Terra Firma” at the Playhouse Theatre on Ngunnawal land.

Temporal orientation, an unconscious yet fundamental cognitive process that provides a framework for organizing personal experiences in temporal categories of past, present and future, reflecting the relative emphasis given to these categories.

The natural tendencies or social norms of humans being in a mental state of Past, Present or Future. How we live our lives in through our personal orientation and it's affect on our present self.

Are we conscious of this? What are the shadow aspects of this? Is it possible to become more present and ultimately, does it help live a better life?
